El pueblo de Masca en Tenerife
The village Masca is situated at a high altitude of around 750 m in the Teno mountains, on the western side of Tenerife. Nowadays, the village is part of the municipality of Buenavista del Norte and it's home to around 90 people who still choose to live here.

Barranco de Masca, or Masca Gorge and the town of Masca is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tenerife. Or at least it was until it closed in 2018.. Playa de Masca Beach. The route leads through less sly inclined terrain. Sometimes it is a flat path, sometimes slightly down. Just in front of the beach there is a small cave.

Masca is located in the northwest at the foot of the Teno Mountains. Part of the thrill of visiting this quaint village is the journey to get there. The easiest route from Tenerife's southern resorts is via Santiago del Teide. Visitors driving on their own may take the TF-436 motorway.

La playa Masca es una playa de arena negra, muy bonita, y en la que darse un refrescante baño tras el esfuerzo de bajar el barranco no tiene precio. Una vez termines la caminata y llegues a la altura del mar, camina hacia la izquierda, allí es donde está la parte de la playa de arena, el resto es de piedras.
