Eliatropes are a race that are not native to the World of Twelve and do not worship the same gods as humans, but have a human appearance. Their most recognizable characteristic is the large hat worn by every individual, presumably to hide the one non-human feature that is visible on their heads.

SPOILER Why does Yugo hide what is under his hat? I dont really get why Yugo hides his wings. He never really specifiys a reason. The first posebile anserw to think of is that he fears discrimination becuse of this non human attribute. But he lives in a world with Cat and Panda people.
